Miss Pennsylvania 2012: Shen Yun “Out of This World“

Shen Yun Performing Arts played its final performance in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania on Thursday evening at The Benedum Center for the Performing Arts.

In the audience was Sheena Monnin, who was crowned Miss Pennsylvania USA 2012 in December last year. She said that watching Shen Yun had been a really beautiful night.

“It’s absolutely beautiful, and what I really appreciate about Asian dance and Chinese culture is the attention to detail and the way they can tell a story without even saying words. To me, the emotion and the beauty that is conveyed is just out of this world. It’s been a really beautiful night."

“I like the way they combine strength and beauty and delicacy because sometimes the movements are very strong and the facial expressions are very fierce but then they soften them and go into something absolutely beautiful. So I think the ability to portray that kind of emotion is just amazing. It’s been really a beautiful thing to watch."

“I’m going to say if you want an emotional experience and if you want to experience true beauty, then come and watch Shen Yun performance because it has been both of those things."

Also in the audience was Regina Rivers, a relationship coach who runs River Healing Arts.

Shen Yun will perform in St Louis, Missouri on February 18 and 19.
