[Koichi Mukoyama, Japan Democratic Party Congressman]:
“I enjoyed the colorfulness and quality of the dance, it’s beautiful and I feel touched. It was around two and a half hour, pretty long, but I felt really drawn into the stage that I didn’t feel the time passing.”

He especially likes two ethnic dances, the Tibetan folk dance and Taiwanese Amei dance.

[Koichi Mukoyama, Japan Democratic Party Congressman]:
“There are various cultures, it will lead to new human advancement when it’s in harmony. It was a dance with such history, truth, being delivered truthfully. That makes me particularly touched.”

Having seen Shen Yun many times, Tokyo MP Toshiaki Koga praised this year’s performance highly.

[Toshiaki Koga, Tokyo MP]:
“It is a gorgeous show and I am very happy. I feel very impressed, seeing the performing arts group’s high skills and its world-class level.”

Mr. Koga said all of the programs are perfect.

[Toshiaki Koga, Tokyo MP]:
“Everything was good! There was comical-style dance, dance expressing braveness, dance that represents female beauty. I was impressed with everything.”

Congressman Mukoyama feels regretful that this performance showcasing 5000 years of traditional Chinese culture cannot be seen in China.

[Koichi Mukoyama, Japan Democratic Party Congressman]:
“Now that it cannot be acknowledged in China, I feel like it [China is] rejecting their own history. It’s a lonely feeling. Is it really bringing value into China? I don’t think that way. I think it will be ideal if Shen Yun dance can [perform] in its motherland.”

Ending with audiences’ applause and praise, Shen Yun is next heading to Nagoya City for two performances on Friday.
