The Freedom Satellite

In the summer of 2008, Reporters Without Borders revealed a secretely recorded telephone conversation with the European satellite company Eutelsat that shocked the European community. 

The call was evidence of why the independent Chinese TV channel NTDTV's broadcast into China was shut down, just a few weeks before the 2008 Olympics in Beijing.
