Hong Kong Harbour Mass Swim Race Returns After 33 Years
Hundreds of swimmers dived into Hong Kong's Victoria Harbour on Sunday, reviving an annual tradition that started in 1906--but has been on hiatus since 1978 over pollution concerns. The swimmers raced across the harbor, though for many, the event was more about fun than competition. Some who last participated in the 70s were glad to hop back into the drink.
