Relatives Bury El Salvador Storm Victims

Hurricane Ida’s passage through El Salvador has taken the lives of 124 people. Flooding, mudslides and chaos reigns in Verapaz, the town worst hit in San Vicente province.
Emergency crews and soldiers walked through the muddy streets to rescue the wounded and look for survivors.
[Sonia Trigueros, Doctor]:
"Thirty to 40 approximately are missing and we have 12 dead."
Relatives have now started burying their loved ones.
Hurricane Ida is forecast to hit the U.S. Gulf Coast early on Tuesday between Louisiana and Florida.
