Cordoba City Councilwoman Uplifted by Shen Yun

Shen Yun Performing Arts' first show in Cordoba attracted many politicians including city councilwoman Olga Riutort.. She says the show has uplifted her spirit.

Mrs. Riutort was very impressed by the tenor.

[Olga Riutort, Cordoba City Councilwoman]:
"The tenor, a spectacle, and the lyrics, which are aimed at the spiritual development of mankind, the essence of why we are here, I really loved, so far, it is spectacular."

Mrs. Riutort said the show spanned from ancient times to modern China, and reflected different cultural regions from China, making this a unique performance.

And the beginning from the ancient history and reflecting until now, the different regions of China, there is nothing you can say that this is better than  the other, I loved it."

Ritutort said the piece, " Heaven Awaits us Despite Persecution", left her and other audience members with many tears.

"There was one scene, when some soldiers from a dictatorship go after peaceful people and the destruction of a family with the death of the father of the girl, well, its for sure that many of us dropped some tears."
