Stray Dogs Served Indian Feast

A non-government organization, or NGO, in India's western Gujarat organized a unique kind of feast for more than 12,000 stray dogs in Rajkot City on Tuesday.
[Daulatsingh Chauhan, JASM Founder]:
"We are providing chapattis, ladoos (Indian sweet), ganthiyas (a savoury), milk and biscuits and we are providing each dog with one liter of milk with two chapattis."
Volunteers from the NGO and the public came together on the streets and arranged the spread for the dogs.
[Mital Khetani, Local Volunteer]:
"Our 23 vehicles along with our 23 teams will provide food to street dogs."
The feast for the 12,000 dogs included 2,600 gallons of milk, 25,000 chapattis, 4,400 pounds of laddoos, 2,600 pounds of ganthiya and 100 cartons of biscuits.
