91-Year-Old Wins Top Prize at Australian Art Exhibition

People marvel at the incredible sculptures on display at this open art exhibition called “Sculptures by the Sea” on the cliffs of Bondi Beach here in Sydney.

Spectators were amazed at the creativity of the sculptures.

"I'm just knocked out by them because there are so many original ideas, clever ideas.”

May Barrie, a 91-year-old woman, won the top prize of $60-thousand Australian dollars at the exhibition with her granite boulder artwork.

She has been sculpting for more than 60 years and completed the "Time and Tide Granite Monolith" in 1996.

113 other artworks are on display at the festival that is expected to draw half a million visitors.
