Texas State Representative Issues Salute Resolution for Shen Yun

Shen Yun Performing Arts' first show in Houston on Tuesday evening finished to thunderous applause.

After the show, Texas State Representative, Dr. Alma Allen, presented local organizers of Shen Yun with a resolution praising the show.

[Dr Alma A. Allen, State Representative, 131st District, Texas]:
“On behalf of the great state of Texas, I’m Alma Allen, state representative for district 131, wanting to present you with this salute resolution. I am excited to be here this evening. This is my third time coming to the performance and I wouldn’t miss it. It’s at the perfect time, Christmas time, and it makes my Christmas very, very happy."

Dr Allen went on to talk about what she enjoyed in the show.

“The music, the orchestra and the singers are first class, first class.”

“It’s such a joy to have this show come to Houston and to have the people in Houston have the opportunity to see it. What it combines, the technology, the dance, the music… all of it. It’s just awesome.”
