The “Civil Society” exhibition of Russian artist Gregory Pototsky opened in the "Art" theater in central Moscow this week. The exhibit showcases the artist’s latest works.

One collection had 20 bronze figures. They represent Russia’s most popular people, including actors, poets, and movie directors.

[Gregory Pototsky, Artist]:
"All the character represented here – are not fighters. They do not fight against anyone - they never joined any opposition. Instead, they contribute to make our life beautiful. They create and give love. They are doing something great."

Pototsky is also working on another collection he calls "World Museum of Intellectuals," which will include distinguished people of our time.

Also included, a portrait of actress Natalia Andreychenko.

[Natalia Andreychenko, Actress]:
"My character is displayed very well. I do not know how we are similar, but the fact that in character we are very alike - that's for sure."

Actor Victor Proskurin says he liked working with Pototsky.

[Victor Proskurin, Actor]:
"He  found his inner inspiration and made such a portrait. I did not resist, of course, because I support him.”

For several years Pototsky has also been the president of the International Academy of Kindness. Ten of his sixty monuments around the world became a symbol of kindness.

[Gregory Pototsky, Artist]:
"I want people to understand that there are beautiful people out there. And what's interesting is when people give kindness, create good, do good. This must be expressed, this must be multiplied. That's why I think it is time that there be no censorship on goodness."

Pototsky’s documentary “Life-Changing Art” premiered at the exhibit. It portrayed his positive outlook on life through his work.
