Cacharel's New Collection Hits Paris Fashion Week

2010-03-08 10:06

Cacharel’s feminine signature brand of bright prints and patterns had a touch of urban sophistication.

Satin skirts and dresses ruffle beneath plain black overcoats. Tapering skirts with deep folds, low-cut tops and knee-length dresses are covered with modern prints and are offset in clashing colours. Wrap-over tops and dresses in cotton and wool are splashed in bright red, gold, orange and burgundy.

Cacharel’s house designer is the young Belgian Cedric Charlier. This is his second collection for the ready to wear Parisian house.

Audience members said what they like about the collection.

[Unidentified Fashion Follower]:

"I think he captured what Cacharel, the house of Cacharel (is), I think he really brought it into what's happening right now.”

[Miriam Govain, Audience Member]:

"The cut work, the new prints, very pretty... and the dresses."
