Even an economic crisis could not stop hundreds of people in Greece from taking part in what's known as the flour war in the coastal fishing town of Galaxidi, about 120 miles west of Athens.
To mark the end of carnival and Clean Monday of the Orthodox calendar, villagers don goggles and plastic suits and then, with the ringing of cow bells, the fun begins.
[Participant, Greek]:
"This is perfect, there is nothing like this, it's super, I will come again next year."
Many Greeks say it's a great way to release frustration, especially when the country is suffering under economic turmoil.
The annual tradition has been taking place for decades and is believed to have originated more than 200 years ago.
Today it attracts spectators from across the country and tourists from all over the world.
