Radim Vizvary is one of the best mime artists of the new generation in the Czech Republic.

A mime with a white mask represents classical Pantomime.

“It used to take me 30 minutes to put up on the make up, now I can manage it in only ten.“

Radim Vizvary´s journey as a mime artist started 7 years ago.

“First I started with the puppet theater. My colleague found my talent for movement and she herself, without telling me, filled in the entry form for the University Department of Pantomime.“

Without any preparation Radim took the talent exam and was accepted. Hard work and patience was his every day bread when he began his studies.

“From morning till night I was on the stage training.“

To be able to control every part of  a mime´s body requires a lot of hard work, sweat and pain. And the audience can see the results.

A classical mime´s performance is hard to find nowadays.
