These images have apparently angered Copenhagen's Little Mermaid.
Environmental groups say the iconic statue is upset about the havoc being wreaked to the natural environment.
She's become a symbol for their work and they've just awarded the Angry Mermaid Award to what they say are the world's worst polluters.
Naomi Klein, a journalist and author known for her critique of corporate greed, announced the winner in Copenhagen.
[Naomi Klein , Journalist and Author]:
"The winner of the Angry Mermaid Award is
— in third place with 14 percent of the vote
— the American Petroleum Institute. They received 1,390 votes. In second place, with 18 percent of the vote, is Royal Dutch Shell. They received 1,810 votes. And in first place, with a decisive margin, 36 percent of the vote, is Monsanto with 3,759 votes."
Biotech giant Monsanto was nominated for promoting its genetically manipulated crops as a way to combat global hunger and for pushing its crops as bio-fuel.
But the expansion of GM soy has led to major deforestation and greenhouse gas emissions.
Monsanto's accusers allege the company is lobbying its goods under the pretence of tackling climate change.
Eight lobby groups were short-listed for the Angry Mermaid Awards.
They included oil, coal and aviation firms along with the chemicals industry and emissions trading.
10,000 people voted in the winners.
The award was presented as 100 world leaders tried to bash out a deal to stop global warming rising over two degrees celsius.
