Scenes like these are set to continue across the UK over the coming days.
In the northern English town of Keswick, residents had to be rescued from rising water after torrential rain.
The Environment Agency has now issued severe weather warnings for 27 locations across Britain.
Five areas in Cumbria and southern Scotland have been given serious flood warnings, meaning there's an extreme danger to life and property.
Temporary defense measures have also been put up across the regions.
And the downpours are set to continue.
The Met Office says more heavy rain is expected in Cumbria, western Scotland and northern Wales on Friday.
They're working closely with local authorities and emergency services to ensure they're well prepared.
But gales of up to 70 mph could add to the chaos in Cumbria, Dumfries and Galloway, making for a wet and windy weekend.
