During the last week 400 kids in Schliern were very busy. Within only one week they learned acrobatic movements like juggling, fire eating or back flips. They participated in a circus project in which the whole school was involved. Kinds from kinder garden to the 6th grade were performing.

The circus "Zirkusa" is moving from school to school to perform with the children.

The professional artist was very pleased to work with these kids.

[Eckhard Euen, Artist]:
"I'm an artist for 15 years because I got very interested in acrobatics when I was very young. On one hand it is very nice to perform myself and on the other hand I also enjoy to work with the kids, they were totally nice and open. ‘Zirkusa’ is a project that got very popular in Switzerland lately which gives another opportunity to get to know about circus."

The school's director talks about the importance of how children can learn to communicate with each other in a better way as well as having good teamwork.

[Sara Iselin, School Director]:
"This is one of the biggest schools in the city and we had the idea to let the kids know themselves better, to communicate with other people and to avoid violence. I'm very touched to see how the older kids, that I usually see as wild and disturbing sometimes, how they take their responsibility in a team and how they found themselves and know what they can [do]. Yes, I was very impressed by that."

The children, professors and audiences were amazed by the successful show.

The kids experienced joyful moments during this week of hard work but learned important things that they won't soon forget.
