Today tropical storm Lionrock lashes the coast of eastern China, bringing heavy rains and disrupting shipping along the busy coastline.

The storm hit Fujian, Xiamen, Quanzhou and other coastal cities.

So far, no casualties have been reported.

Forecasters say Lionrock will shortly weaken to a tropical depression.
