Woman Deported from NZ Seeking Help From Malaysia

The family of a Chinese woman deported from New Zealand has flown to Malaysia to be with her.
54-year-old Ms. Wang Peng was fearful of returning to China, where she says she will face persecution for her practice of Falun Gong.
Wang was denied refugee status by the New Zealand government after arriving there in 2006. Last Friday she was forced to leave the country. She has been staying at the Kuala Lumpur Airport since then after leaving her plane when it stopped there for a connection.
Friends say Wang is now seeking help from the Malaysian government, so she does not have to return to China.
