A two-week food festival showcasing exotic Arabian food items is underway in Hyderabad City.
The festival began on Saturday, June 12th.
Indigenous food items like roasted lamb with rice, knafeh, baklawa, basbousa, and many more Arabian dishes are on display here.
[Alina, Canadian Tourist]:
"We are staying here out of pleasure. We are enjoying everyday the qualities of food. So Arabian is quite nice for us."
The festival ambience is simply Arabic from the decoration and utensils to Arabic music.
Each and every item symbolizes Arabic culture and tradition.
[Bhargav Kumar, Chef-In-Charge, Hotel Novotel]:
"We have the whole restaurant in terms of ambience completely set up like an Arabic restaurant. We have the dresses, which are very traditional to Arabic countries… Morocco or a Turkish cap things like that. We have a chef who has flown in from Morocco, who is working in Qatar just for the food festival."
The fair wraps up on Sunday.
