Landslides caused by heavy rain hit villages in Cox's Bazar hill and a resort area in southeast Bangladesh on Tuesday. 58 people were killed, while dozens of homes and an army camp was buried.
One local found his family.
[Unidentified Resident]:
"Four members of my family died in this accident, I retrieved them, digging them out of the mud."
Sources say at least six army soldiers camping on a hillside were among the dead, with four still missing.
The search for more bodies continues.
Low-lying areas have been flooded and communications disrupted.
Almost every year landslides hit hillside villages in the south and northeastern districts during the monsoon season.
In the last few years, Bangladesh has seen an increase in intensity and frequency of climate-related problems.
