Police seize a huge cache of ammunition during a raid at the office of a stone crushing operation.

The raid took place in India's eastern Jharkhand state yesterday, following a police tip off.

Among the items seized, three thousand detonators, power gel which is used to detonate bombs and two 160-foot-long rolls of telephone cable.

[Dinesh Orawa, Deputy Superintendent of Police]:
"A case has been filed against the owner of the stone crushing machine under the Explosive Substance Act."

No arrests were made and police won't say if the explosives are suspected of being collected for use by Maoist rebels, which are active in the region.
