A Thai court ruled on Thursday to have British national Michael Smith extradited to the United Arab Emirates to face fraud charges there.

Smith didn’t have much to say about the court’s decision.

[Michael Smith, Accused of Fraud]:
"I am remarkably well. We'll see what happens today. I haven't been able to call any witnesses for my trial. So, what do you think?"

Following a request of assistance from the UAE, Thai authorities arrested Michael Smith in Bangkok last May.

Smith spent eight months on the run for allegedly embezzling $150 million U.S. dollars from a real estate company in Dubai. He denies the charges.
