Sydney Santas in Charity Fun Run

The participants ranged in age from two to 85.
The inaugural event raised close to AUS $100,000 (US $90,000) for Variety, and the children's charity hopes to make this an annual event which could eventually be the biggest anywhere in the world.
Sydney is aiming to attract 15,000 participants next year, setting a new world record. The current record is held by Portugal with 13,500 Santas.
