Indian President Flies in Fighter Jet

The Indian president made history today by becoming the first woman president in the world to fly in a fighter jet.
The 74-year-old took off from an air force base on the outskirts of Pune City in Western India.
The aircraft flew at an altitude of 10,000 feet at a speed of around 500 mph.
On her arrival at the air base, she was accorded a ceremonial guard-of-honor by Indian Air Force officials.
Before undertaking the flight, she underwent a mandatory pre-flight medical test and then dressed up in an anti-gravity suit -- to help her withstand high g-forces.
It seems she enjoyed the experience.
