And on to China where U.S. President Barack Obama is in Beijing today… on the second day of his maiden visit to the Mainland as United States president.

Obama landed in the eastern export hub of Shanghai on Sunday where he held a town hall meeting with young Chinese.

Obama used the forum in Shanghai to champion Internet freedom and human rights, but he did not mention Tibet or other sensitive issues.

Obama is set to meet Communist Party leader Hu Jintao, where they’re expected to discuss North Korea and Iran, and efforts to forge a new climate pact ahead of the Copenhagen talks in December.
