Shen Yun Wraps Up Florida Shows

2010-02-02 10:18

This year's finale has come for Shen Yun's six Florida shows. The last stop on their tour in the Southern state was Jacksonville’s Times-Union Center for Performing Arts.

Local Mayor, Stan Totman, enjoyed the stories told in the show.

[Stan Totman, Baldwin Mayor]:

"The storytelling is wonderful because it gives us a chance to enjoy every part of it."

Ballroom dancer, Vida Vongsay, really appreciated the dancers talent and now has plans for her son.

[Vida Vongsay, Ballroom Dancer]:

"The female dancer was phenomenal, great strength and control, very flexible and very elegant. The male was very, very good. That's why I said, 'My son, after he's born, he'll be learning Chinese classical dancing.'"

Artist Craig Erskine found the show inspirational.

[Craig Erskine, Artist]:

"Absolutely, the use of colors, again, was something that I hadn't seen before. And the way they float... And the way they stayed in synch. Just absolutely gorgeous so, it definitely inspired me."

Actress Lyn Foley is already talking about next year.

[Lyn Foley, Actress]:

"Wonderful. It couldn't have been better and I will come back again next year."
