As Formula 1 fever descends on Singapore, Hollywood bad girl Lindsay Lohan arrived on the island city on Thursday (September 24) to host a three-day concert, which coincides with the F1 race over the weekend.

The actress said she is new to F1, but is excited about her role in the concert.

[Lindsay Lohan, Actress]:
"I'm learning as I go, but I'm kind of looking forward to everything. It's a new experience, I've never been to Singapore, so I'm just kind of taking it all in."

Lohan recently signed up with fashion house Emanuel Ungaro as an artistic adviser.

Her first collection will be unveiled on October 4, and she says her new role in fashion will not conflict with her film career.

[Lindsay Lohan, Actress]:
"I think working with Ungaro it's more personal for me. It's kind of more about who I am and what I want to put out there in terms of what people wear and different styles. I think, I don't think it conflicts with the films I make, I think there's time for everything and I'm a multi-tasker so I like it. And what I wear in films means a lot to the character and what people take from the character."

Over the past two years the starlet's creative endeavors have been eclipsed by scandals, nightclub antics and drug problems.

But Lohan said she doesn't let tabloid headlines get in the way of her work.

[Lindsay Lohan, Actress]:
"I'm pretty numb to everything that gets said and goes on. I'm not going to say the paparazzi don't get annoying, when I, you know, just want that alone time. But it's not that bad. I don't really pay attention to it, in all honesty."

Some of the big name artists expected at the "F1 Rocks Singapore" concert, which Lohan will host include Beyonce, the Black-Eyed Peas and No Doubt.
