Poland Welcomes Shen Yun

Shen Yun performed to a warm audience over the weekend. Many were happy to see the show for the first time and some were brought to tears.
We spoke to members of Lodz's artist community who enjoyed Shen Yun very much.
[Andrzej M. Jurkiewicz, Tenor]:
"I liked it very much, especially the tenor, because I'm a tenor myself."
[Yotsuyanagi Ikuko, Ballet Dancer]:
"They have nice technique and beautiful movements. For me it's perfect. They have so good technique, I know how difficult these movements are."
So did a Chinese living in Poland.
[Mrs. Zhang, Lives in Poland]:
"Of course (the show) is excellent. Their dances and stories are all teaching people to be good, and be really kind to everyone."
A missionary nun was deeply touched by the performance "Heaven Awaits Us Despite Persecution." It is a story depicting the persecution of the Falun Gong meditation practice by the Chinese communist regime.
[Sister Veronika Marie Klebba, Missionary]:
"Also in this sad and difficult performance, people were lead towards hope. And that the evil persecution was something wrong, and it was not the last word. The last word belongs to hope and to life. It showed a deep message, the message of hope, of joy, of peace, that God gives to people."
Shen Yun Performing Arts' next European stop is the Austrian capital of Vienna on Sunday, April 5th.
