Florence Opera Academy Offers Scholarships to NTD Vocal Competition

Florence - the capital city of Tuscany in Italy. A city for the arts and architecture. A hub for Italian opera.

The Artistic Director at the Florence Opera Academy, Silvia Bossa will travel to New York City at the end of next month for NTD’s International Chinese Vocal Competition at Carnegie Hall.

Ms. Bossa will select three scholarship recipients at the competition, recognizing them for their "distinguished talents in interpreting Italian Opera."

She said the competition’s mission - to promote traditional vocal arts of pure authenticity, pure goodness, and pure beauty - sparked her interest.

Ms. Bossa believes NTD’s competition finals and Future Stars Recital at Carnegie Hall on October 30th will be an important milestone for the participating artists.

A concert will be held in Florence for the three scholarship recipients after their master class study.
