School Ski Trip Crash Leaves One Dead, 23 Injured

A bus carrying dozens of British tourists went off the road in eastern France and crashed into a ditch early on Sunday, killing one man and injuring 23 other people.
The accident happened in Chalons-en-Champagne when the bus was travelling from Italy to Birmingham in England.
According to French media, 23 people were injured, five of them seriously - including a British teenager. The cause of the accident was unclear.
A French police officer said the driver had lost control of his vehicle which had left the road.
Police said he was among the injured and would be questioned as part of the investigation.
British media said the coach was carrying school children returning from a skiing trip in Italy.
