European Parliament Commends NTD

On Wednesday, the European Parliament held a VIP reception for NTD to celebrate ten years of broadcasting uncensored information to China.

Members of the European Parliament expressed their support for NTD.

[Edward McMillan-Scott, European Parliament Vice President]:
“The mission tonight is to congratulate NTDTV ten years of broadcasting uncensored into China. I hope that this year, 2012, the Year of the Dragon, will for NTD be a year of result.”

[Jerzy Buzek, European Parliament Former President]:
“In all those efforts, trying to bring more free information to China, the NTDTV members can count on the members of this parliament.”

NTD’s Executive Vice President also gave a speech there.

[Dr. Samuel Zhou, NTD Executive Vice President]:
“It is my belief that your compassionate support will change the world in ways that will offer our children and grandchildren lives of greater peace and create a better tomorrow for generations to come.”

The reception was jointly co-hosted by three members of the European Parliament.
