French Police Arrest Breast Implant Company Head

The owner of what was once the third largest breast implant firm in the world, Poly Implant Prothese, or PIP, was arrested in his home Thursday.
Jean-Claude Mas awaits questioning while French authorities determine whether to charge him with involuntary manslaughter and causing injury.
Mas was arrested at about 7 A.M. Police searched his Marseille home and the premise of a former partner.
The investigation began in March of 2010 after a former patient died of cancer and the autopsy revealed her PIP-produced breast implants contained non-medical grade silicone.
