Australia: $16-million Drug Bust

Police in Australia have found up to $16.2 million U.S. worth of pure amphetamine, cash and guns, during a series of coordinated drug raids on Tuesday.
             
At one address in Melbourne, two men barricaded themselves inside a flat.
             
They were arrested after a five-hour stand-off.
             
Local media say the operation has closed one of the country's largest drug laboratories.
             
[Doug Fry, Detective Superintendent]:          
"It is very substantial, very sophisticated and at the moment it appears that it is turning out 15 to 20kg in one cook."
             
The arrests are the culmination of a six-month long investigation.
