Atomic Betty the python used to devour 10 goats every year.

But after her supersized meals packed on the pounds, Australian zoo keepers decided it was time for her to shed some skin.

Betty tipped the scales at 300 pounds last year.

But at her annual weigh in, zookeeper Tim Faulkner said she's only gained four pounds.

[Tim Faulkner, Zookeeper, Australian Reptile Zoo Park]:

"We've had her on a bit of a diet. She only had three or four goats this year. That's okay. She's big enough."

As a reticulated python, you can't blame her for her appetite.

She's the longest snake species in the world.
