Fire Engulfs Plastic Container Storehouse in Northern India

A massive fire engulfed a plastic container storehouse in Kanpur City of India's Uttar Pradesh state on Monday.

The fire broke out at 3:30 a.m.

[Subhash Chandra Shakya, Dep. Superintendent of Police, Kanpur]:
“This factory named Jolly Containers deals with Nerolac paints. This factory stored plastic containers used by the Nerolac Paint Company.”

The storehouse did not have basic firefighting equipment, and a case has been registered against the owner of the company.

No one was injured in the incident.
