New Tang Dynasty Television began its unencrypted global satellite broadcast on July 1, 2003 and has been embraced by viewers around the world. Currently NTDTV broadcasts unencrypted on the NSS6, Hot Bird 8, ST1 and Galaxy 5 to Asia, Europe, Australia and North America.
- North America: Galaxy 19, Loral Skynet
- Europe: Hot Bird 8
- Australia: NSS6, New Skies Satellites
- Asia: ST1
Viewers in North America, Asia, Europe, and Australia only need to purchase a receiver that can pick up Free-To-Air signals, or a satellite dish (diameter of 75cm or larger) to receive NTDTV's unencrypted broadcast without monthly or annual fees.
