Huayi Zhang

Chairman of the Board

Dr. Huayi Zhang is a principal of Renaissance Technologies. Dr. Zhang joined Kepler Financial Management, the predecessor of Renaissance's equity arm, in 1989 and became a principal researcher in devising the company's mathematical trading system. Mr. Zhang was a postdoctoral fellow at Rutgers University from 1987 to 1989. He earned his M.S. and Ph.D. in physics from the Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University, and his B.A. from the China University of Science and Technology.

Zhong Lee

Mr. Zhong Lee has been the President of NTDTV since its inception in 2001. Mr. Lee has both years of management experience and a strong commitment to community service and improving cross-cultural relations between people of diverse cultures. Mr. Lee has 10 years of experience as a vice president of a leading New York financial services company. In addition, from 1991 to 1998, he was the founder, principal owner, and financier for a Sino-U.S. pharmaceutical joint venture. From 1993 to 1997, he was a board member of a retail package and mail business with more than 100 outlets in the U.S.

Samuel Zhou

NTDTV Executive Vice President (Acting)

Dr. Samuel Zhou has served as a Member of the Board, and as NTDTV's Vice President of Programming, since 2001. Dr. Zhou brings a wealth of industry expertise in Chinese-language media to NTDTV. He was a founder and managing director of a Chinese-language newswire service. Dr. Zhou graduated from Tsinghua University in Beijing and obtained his Ph.D. in computer science from Rutgers University. He later spent four years as an assistant professor at the University of Pennsylvania.

Annan Ma

NTDTV Vice President of Technology

Mr. Annan Ma has more than 18 years of television and entrepreneurial experience. He served in numerous capacities as a technical consultant at four different city-level television stations, and as marketing director of Hainan Province Public Television. In China, he was an award-winning producer of documentaries, news programs, commercials and science programs. In addition to his work with NTDTV, Mr. Ma currently oversees the technical aspects of Chinatown Television Station, which serves the Chicago area.

Yibing Shi

Member of the Board

One of the founding members of the NTDTV Board of Directors, Mr. Yibing Shi has had more than 15 years of management and business experience in China, Germany, and the U.S. Mr. Shi plays a leading role in NTDTV's management and programming departments. He received his degree in Urban Planning and Design from China's Northwest Architecture Engineering University in 1986.
