Art Broker “Touched” by Shen Yun in NYC
Debra Leitner is an art broker and appraiser at Christies Auction house in New York City. She attended Shen Yun’s performance at Lincoln Center on Wednesday night.
[Debra Leitner, Art Broker/Appraiser, Christies Auction House]:
“It’s incredible. I laughed, I cried, I was so touched, it’s poignant, it’s amazing. And I’m going to try to see them every time they’re here.”
Debra was particularly moved by one of the dances that depicted persecution in present day China.
[Debra Leitner, Art Broker/Appraiser, Christies Auction House]:
“That made me cry, it was very touching and I think it’s something that needs to be heard…because they don’t realize, we don’t realize it here, we have a lot of freedom and we have to be more aware of what other people in the world are going through.”
Debra says every one should see the show.
[Debra Leitner, Art Broker/Appraiser, Christies Auction House]:
“It’s as good or better than any western ballet, it’s incredible, the training, the technique, it’s something that everybody should see, everybody should experience.”
Shen Yun will be playing at Lincoln Center until Sunday January 15th.
Note: In New York, NTD is an official media sponsor of Shen Yun.
