“Breathtaking,” Shen Yun’s Final Night at Waterbury, CT
For the past three days Shen Yun Performing Arts have been playing at the Palace Theater in Waterbury Connecticut.
[Ben Hedges, NTD Reporter]:
“This evening is Shen Yun’s last performance at the palace theater in Waterbury, and we’re going to see what the audience thought.”
[Susan Baetey, Retired Teacher]:
“This was breathtaking, the whole thing, the tears were streaming down my face the first number.”
[Frank Zullo, Attorney]:
“I think it’s marvelous, the young people are very talented, the performance is very professional, the colors are beautiful and it’s breathtaking, I’m really enjoying it.”
Neil Failla saw the show with his family, he enjoyed the blend of live action and the digital backdrop.
[Neil Failla, Technology Consultant]:
“I thought that was pretty neat the way they did that, how they had the characters floating down from the mountains or such, and then all of a sudden they just pop out the bottom. That was quite unique, I have not seen that before.”
Stephen Anderson felt the show offered insights into traditional Chinese culture.
[Steven Anderson, Attorney]:
“It was quite an insight into the Chinese culture that stretches back such a long time, it was educational and entertaining at the same time…I can’t remember time more well spent than this evening, it was wonderful.”
Shen Yun has three companies touring this season. They will be playing at the War Memorial Opera House in San Francisco January third to eighth and at New York City’s Lincoln Center from January eleventh to fifteenth.
