“It was Fabulous" - Ottawa Artist Moved By Shen Yun
One Ottawa-based artist saw Shen Yun Performing Arts at Ottawa’s National Arts Center on Wednesday night.
[Sylvie Lachaine, Artist]:
“I found it so moving.”
The female dancers left an impression.
[Sylvie Lachaine, Artist]:
“They have their grace and elegance and their own strength. When it was time for that woman whose husband had died to lead on the troupes, she picked up her whatever she needed, her strength and her courage, and she put it on and she went about her duties.”
She enjoyed the moral values in the performances.
[Sylvie Lachaine, Artist]:
“These beliefs that they’re talking about in this show is the ancient Chinese beliefs. And I think they’re so important. They’re what got us here. And I think we shouldn’t leave them aside.”
Shen Yun’s last Ottawa performance will be held on Friday evening.
[Sylvie Lachaine, Artist]:
“It was fabulous. The artistry, all of it. The music. The performers—all the ribbons. And then the story behind everything, and the message it’s telling us. To be able to express ourselves, freely and our beliefs. To really be able to have our beliefs, and live by them. It was wonderful."
