"Perfect” - Shen Yun Spreads Holiday Cheer in Ottawa, Canada

Shen Yun Performing Arts’ held its first show in Ottawa, Canada on Monday evening.

[Ryan Harasym, Artist, Animator, Designer]:
“It was the perfect time to come see it, during the Christmas season. So it was perfect.”
 
[Marie Berube, Former Diplomat]:
“I think it puts us in the mood for Christmas actually. It was fantastic.”

 [Garry Breitkreuz, Member of Parliament]:
“It’s unbelievable. I wish everyone in Canada could see it. It’s that amazing.”

[Nerys Parry, Writer]:
“It was so much aerial work, and quite athletic. And it was very expressive. I like how it did all the emotions – from very funny, to very sad, to very deep, and especially how it could take a modern story and a traditional story and they were told beautifully.”

[Kim Hoy, Photographer]:
“And in the theater production that it can talk to all of us and brings us a little bit closer to God. And I’ll be honest, I’m a Christian but at the same time I can see God in all of that on the people that are on stage.”

[Ryan Harasym, Artist, Animator, Designer]:
 “They were able to blend the live performance with the computerized imagery. The blended it together and made it seem very entertaining and that in combination with the music was very nice.”

[Neal Matthews, City Government Officer]:
“I can’t wait till next year actually, to see the next show, because it is something out of this world.”

Shen Yun is performing in Ottawa until Friday night.
