“Truly Extraordinary” Shen Yun at Lincoln Center

Opening night for Shen Yun Performing Arts five-show run at New York’s Lincoln Center.

Shen Yun often attracts audiences from the film and fashion worlds, and tonight is no exception.
Actress Kelly Rutherford tells us what she thought of the performance.

[Kelly Rutherford, Actress]:
“It’s extraordinary, all the colors and the music, and the dancing is phenomenal. I don’t know how they do it, it’s truly extraordinary.”

Fashion designer Domenico Vacca was attracted to Shen Yun by the costumes.

[Domenico Vacca, Fashion Designer]:
“It’s amazing, the costumes are beautiful, so that definitely attracted me very much...I think that the music is great, the dancers and the artists are great and I think that it’s a great way to really showcase the culture of China.”

Also attending was fashion model Anastasia Jenkin.

[Anastasia Jenkin, Fashion Model]:
“It’s so beautiful to see the expressions of each of the dancers, because you can really see that they are so excited and you can see that they are just loving every movement that they make...And even everyone around me, like I watch their faces, everyone is just smiling and I think if that’s what’s happening then that’s a good thing.”

Shen Yun will be performing at the David H. Koch Theater at Lincoln Center until June 26th.
