ZHANG:
A second school has collapsed in Haiti. It comes less than a week after a school collapse in the country killing 90 people. This time, children were outside on break when the building gave way.

STORY:
This is the site of the latest building collapse in Haiti. It was a primary school. Officials say part of the construction gave way during break time, when most of the children were outside.

But hundreds of parents rushed to the scene. Emergency workers went through the rubble searching for possible victims. At least nine people have been taken to the hospital.

The city's public health secretary said it's a catastrophe.

[Luc Eucher Joseph, Public Health Secretary]:
"Once again, another catastrophic situation, another school. We are in a catastrophic situation right here; we're standing next to a building which we don't know if it may collapse."

And calls are being made to reconsider construction methods in the country.

[Gabriel Thimote, General Health Secretary]:
"This is the right time to take a strong decision in the way buildings are being made in this country, because if not, those families will be constantly crying. There will be other schools, not only schools, but other houses again."

There have been no immediate reports of death.

But only five days ago another school collapse claimed at least 90 lives.
