CCP Admits Increasing Troops in Tibet

And yesterday Chinese Communist Party leader Hu Jintao said more troops have been sent to Tibet ahead of the 50 year anniversary of the Red Army’s invasion there. Protests have already been underway in the region. In Guolou a police car and fire engine were blown up. Amnesty International says further troops increases will only lead to more unrest in the region.
