"When China was given the opportunity to host the Olympics in 2001, they agreed that they would improve their human rights violations, and human rights records, but in fact, their human rights record has drastically worsened."

Prager says that in 1936, the Nazi Party used the Olympics as a way to make itself look good on the world stage. And now, she explains, China is doing the same thing.

"And that is precisely what we want people to be aware of: that this is a façade. And that they are in violation of the Olympic charter and that they should not have the honor or the privilege of hosting these games while these atrocities are going on."
